The Box menu Sunday open 2-8pm:

Smoked chicken salad with lemon and herb dressing £10.

Smoked trout and watercress tart with mixed leaves £10.

Local Asparagus, poach egg, croutons, parmesan, baby potatoes and hollandaise sauce £12.

Wild sea bass, saute potatoes, asparagus with parmesan truffle butter sauce £18.

Roast free range chicken, slow roast lamb both £12.50 or fillet steak £20 all served with roast potatoes, carrots, fine green beans, cauliflower, yorkshire pudding and gravy.

Vegetable Wellington, mushroom duxelle, spinach, roasted butternut squash, carrot puree, seasonal greens and mashed potatoes £12.

Beef madras with rice, naan and poppadom £12. Thai vegetable stir fry with rice noodles £8.50.

Sweet things: Lemon tart £5 with fresh berries. Dark chocolate brownie with raspberries and flaked almonds £3. Apple and rhubarb crumble with custard or cream £6.
