The Box Easter Sunday menu.


Starters:

Seared scallops, crispy bacon (optional), asparagus and samphire £10.

Gin cured salmon, horseradish, watercress and apple £10.

Duck rillettes with orange chutney and sourdough toast £9.

Burrata with hazelnuts, rocket, caramelised fig and balsamic dressing £9.

Halibut ceviche £10.


Mains:

Chargrilled Dexter beef fillet, beef cheek fritter, roast portobello mushroom, red onion chutney, chips and bearnaise sauce £20.

Cannon of lamb with potato dauphinoise, fine green beans, chantenay carrots and red wine gravy £20.

Roast chicken or slow roast shoulder of lamb with roast potatoes, carrots, fine green beans, cauliflower, yorkshire pudding and gravy £12.50.

Vegetable wellington, mushroom duxelle, spinach, butternut squash, carrot puree served with mash potatoes and fine green beans £12.


Puddings:

Dark chocolate and raspberry brownie with flaked almonds £3.

Lemon tart with fresh berries £6.

Gooseberry or rhubarb crumble with Madagascan vanilla custard £6.


Cheese selection and crackers £9.
